The Westmidlands Government of the UK set up a 5G cluster partnering with Telefonica Group and Nokia. Sensfix factory automation was industry relevant for the UK industries like BAE Systems, DENSO, Bam Nuttall, Celsa Group to test out multimodal AI-based automation for industrial applications. Telefonica Group invited Sensfix to speak to these UK corporations and explore the possibility of rolling out our factory automation software on 5G connected facilities which they are rolling out. Sensfix took this opportunity to augment its 5G connected factory thought leadership and position in the market having already positioned itself as a first mover startup in another 5G cluster in Europe lead by Ericsson.

Sensfix was chosen to join the cohort of 11 startups from the manufacturing sector that will get access to a 5G private network in Birmingham, technical support to test 5G use cases and develop proof of concepts. The program is led by Digital Catapult in collaboration with Programme Partners: Wayra, O2, Deloitte, WM5G.

We are grateful for providing us this opportunity to join the program and use 5PRING 5G testbed, as well as for mentoring we will be provided during the program from its Partners: BAE Systems, BAM Nuttall Ltd, Make UK, CELSA GROUP, DENSO, AE Aerospace Ltd., AttoCore, BUILDING RESEARCH ESTABLISHMENT LIMITED .
